19th birthday wasn't the rah-rah celebration or an annual gathering with the babes and dudes but it was refreshing to spend the day in a peaceful, zen, somewhat grownup manner. Walked around town with twang before heading to toy's'aurus (sp) where we had retarded great fun, and then to the opera gallery where we saw some awesome art pieces. So awesome I JUST had to take photos there. Went to Kinokuniya and bought a Chinese book! ♥ ♥ ♥ Closet bookworm I am. Bumped into Simin the constantly high girl hahaha. Sushi Tei-ed for dinner and the Yasai Tempura was :D :D Japanese food pwns all and I can't wait to go to Japan again. (Note to self: save $$$) Headed off for yyxz after that and was greeted by a birthday song coolness. Happy happy and then AFTER yyxz I really sincerely thought there was a blackout but then tying and enli walked in with an awesome chocolate cake I was touched and happy like whoa awesome I get to blow off candles this year :D Of course yesterday was awesome too because I had dinner with my CSOs and I appreciate that they took time off to celebrate my birthday with me over a little meal that I didn't have to pay (: And many little things too. Like how Shaoming made it tops to text me happybirthday. It's really the little things that count and I was happy he remembered, maybe it's like something already faithfully remembered and difficult to erase. Recently been looking back la I don't know what's gnna happen haha. And how Jason told me he'll treat me to movie next time. And how Yuzheng grudgingly agreed to take me to high tea one day. And how Chan and Mingyi awesomely told me if I don't have any plans on my birthday they'll celebrate with me. And how Yewseng totally texted to tell me he didn't forget omg I was so happy to see his text it's to typically yewseng. And how Zhiyang asked me to lend him the CD after I listen to it but then told me later that he really got it for me and not because he wanted it. And my brother getting me the RiverIsland voucher and also texting me. And of course all the facebooking that my entire OG is recently actively involved in. Realised as I grew older such awesome intangible stuff slowly takes over the presents and everything. Love you all plenty, thanks for letting me know I'm not forgotten.
